Thanks for this. I have a big following on Twitter but am being seen less and less these days, which is a shame. With regards Facebook, it's all pay-to-play now. I'm only seen if I pay to boost my posts. I love Instagram but it's not what it used to be. I loved when it was images only but now it pushes reels, which are very time consuming. It's very slow to grow followers there too, even if I pay to play. I tried Youtube and Podcasting, both have promise but editing and producing content is hugely time consuming and takes me away from what I should be doing - writing books and teaching aspiring authors how to write. TikTok is good for gaining followers quickly and I was getting a great response, but as an author I'm a total introvert and it's very time consuming trying to come up with original ways of getting seen without showing my face. I love Medium as I'm surrounded by a community of fellow writers. Anyway, that's my experience, as you can see, I've tried everything!
